PTWS 50th - Waikiki Hotel Reservations

After making a hotel and/or air travel reservation, please provide your Hawaii round trip travel details to ITIC through email (Jackie Kubo, jacqueline.kubo@noaa.gov) or by FAX (+1-808-725-6055).

Official Meeting Hotels

The following hotels will honor the PTWS 50^th Group Rate for the Symposium and ICG.

Important - Local Transportation arrangements:

• For the International Tsunami Symposium, all participants should to take the NOAA courtesy transportation buses from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in order to gain access to Ford Island, which is a military facility.

• For the ICG/PTWS-XXVI, there will be no local transportation from other hotels to the ICG venue, and it is recommended to stay close by the meeting site.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikīkī for the period of 17 to 27 April 2015.   Rooms will be at US government rate of $177 per night plus tax.  The Royal Hawaiian is located on the beach.  It’s sister property located next door, and also on the beach, is the Sheraton Waikīkī.  If the Royal Hawaiian is booked, reservations will overflow to the Sheration Waikīkī.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Ohana Waikīkī East for the period of 18 to 29 April 2015.  Rooms will be at US government rate of $139 per night plus tax.  The hotel is located 1 block from the famous Waikīkī Beach, and across The Pantry supermarket.

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Ala Moana Hotel for the period of 16 to 29 April 2015.  Rooms will be at US government rate of $169 per night plus tax.  The hotel is adjacent to Ala Moana Shopping Center, an open-air shopping mall of 290+ stores.
