An IOC Circular Letter inviting nominees was sent to ICG/PTWS and ICG/CARIBE-EWS Tsunami National Contacts and Tsunami Warning Focal Points requesting nominations by 30 June 2016. Selections were made in July. 10 participants from China, Mexico, Nauru, Tonga, and USA took part.
