ITST Techniques

The 2014 revision to IOC Manuals and Guide 37, renamed as International Tsunami Survey Team (ITST) Post-Tsunami Survey Field Guide (2nd ed, 2014), provides a summary of the data types, data collection equipment, methods and best practices. It gives an overview of the types of data that are typically collected by ITSTs and where appropriate, recognizes currently accepted best practices so that data collection is consistent and the results can be shared and applied as widely as possible.
