ABSTRACTS AND POSTERS
Abstract, poster submission deadline 15 April 2015.  We invite you to print and hand carry a poster, or to submit an Extended Abstract (less than 10 pages), to showcase the work of your country, organization, and/or research. Poster displays will be set up in the Atrium of the IRC. Update: Poster size should be no larger than 3 feet by 4 feet. We will have tables available to hold Abstracts or any materials you would like to share. All posters and abstracts will be compiled and posted to the Symposium web site, along with Symposium speaker presentations. We encourage you to send your files by 15 April, to ensure that they are posted in time for the April 20 start of the Symposium to Laura.Kong@noaa.gov and Tammy.Fukuji@noaa.gov. Posters can be dropped off at the check in table at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel on April 19th, or the IRC check in table on April 20th, and will be hung on foam core backing and placed on easels on Monday morning.

IDENTIFICATION FOR NOAA IRC
Please carry your passports everyday.  US citizens with military base access credentials (CAC card, retired military ID, etc.) may use these identification documents.  Credentials are to be shown at the JBPHH Ford Island bridge access gate, and at the NOAA IRC entrance.

INTERNET
Wireless internet will be available in the IRC.


REGISTRATION
Registration opens 24 December 2014.  

General registration is now CLOSED.  If you are still interested in attending, please contact Laura Kong (email:  laura.kong@noaa.gov)  

Registration deadline is 15 March 2015 to ensure enough processing time to be granted access onto Ford Island on the Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam where the NOAA IRC building is located.

Registration is a 2-step process.  After 24 December 2014, to fully register, please
STEP 1. Please CLICK HERE (1) to submit provide Participant Information the information.
STEP 2. Please CLICK HERE (2) to download the IRC Facility Access (IFA) Form to provide passport data necessary for security clearance and access to Ford Island.  Complete the form, preferably using a computer or typewriter.  After completion, fax the IFA Form to ITIC at +1-808-725-6055.  
Exception:  All participants must complete both STEP 1 and STEP 2 to register, except for US Citizens who already have military base access credentials (CAC card, retired military ID, etc.) 

You will receive a Registration Confirmation by email when your registration is complete.


AIRPORT TO HOTEL TRANSPORTATION
Airport to Waikiki hotel transportation options are by private taxi (about $45 to Waikīkī), or the Airport-to- Waikīkī Hotels shuttle bus to/from Honolulu Airport to your hotel. The Speedi Shuttle is available outside of baggage claim at a cost of about $15 and can be booked at http://www.speedishuttle.com/pickup.

If you are an Official Delegate to the ICG/PTWS-XXVI, your airport to the Official Meeting Hotels transportation will be provided by NOAA.

 ROYAL HAWAIIAN HOTEL TO NOAA IRC TRANSPORTATION
NOAA will provide transportation to and from the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikīkī) to the NOAA IRC located on Ford Island, JBPHH.  Early registration is highly recommended to ensure pre-clearance onto JBPHH using the shuttle buses.  

If you are staying at another hotel, please be on time to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. 
Departure times and locations will be made available prior to the meeting. 

All participants should use NOAA’s free courtesy transportation.  The IRC is located on the JBPHH Military Base about 45-minute drive from Waikīkī, and requires special base permission.  Taking the courtesy bus is your most convenient and simplest transport method.
